The beach house is located inside Sea Pines which is a 5,000-acre community that encompasses private neighborhoods, a resort, 605 acre forest preserve with horse stables and a petting zoo, 3 golf courses along with a PGA Tour golf course, marina and town center with shopping and dining options. Restaurants include the world famous Salty Dog Cafe and the brand new Quarterdeck located under the famous lighthouse in Harbour Town. Beach side dining can be found at Coast which is less than 1 mile from the cottage. Miles of hiking/biking paths can be found in the Forest Preserve located directly behind the beach house.

Staying at 4 Night Heron is a unique and rewarding experience. Constructed with an open floor plan, high-sloped ceilings, gleaming wood floors and generous large windows throughout, you’ll feel connected to the lush forest that surrounds the home. Not only is there plenty of room to spread out and watch the TV with cable or play games, but also the living room couch makes out into a sleeper sofa when needed. Sliding doors lead out to the screened in deck where you can gather for meals around the outdoor table. There’s a grill in case you want to cook steaks some evening. If you prefer to dine indoors, you’ll find a dining table at the edge of the main living area. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. The primary bedroom is a true retreat with its queen-size bed, private TV and large sliding glass doors that lead out onto the deck. It’s fun and so peaceful to slip out and listen to the sounds of the forest at night. The guest room features queen-size bunk beds. Kids will love this room with a private TV and space to play. Guests share the Night Heron 4 bathroom that’s convenient to both bedrooms.
